Ceramic workshops are conducted in the Clay House studio; teachers have the option to select from a variety of workshops including plate decorating, clay animal sculpture, coil pot building and more.

Printmaking Workshop

We provide a variety of printmaking workshops including collograph, lino printing and etching, all conducted on a press. Workshops are 3 hours duration. Cost is $15/student with a minimum of 20 students.

Spray Art Workshops

4-hour spray art or stencil workshops are conducted on the Casula Tanks with a local street artist. Cost is $400 including materials with a maximum of 25 students.

Language throughArts (ESL)

Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre offers classes for Adult Learners and intermediate/advanced level English students, using art as a means to expand language. Students learn new vocabulary and practise using it by looking at and describing portraits, landscapes and narrative works of art. Classes are offered as a one-off workshop or as a series.

Adjusted Behavioural Schools Workshops

We offer adjusted workshops and excursions for most exhibitions and education programs. This often entails shorter workshop times, more breaks and increased supervision staff.
