Teacher’s Professional Development Workshop
With special guest, Kerrie Lester

This practical workshop will equip teachers with the confidence to implement sophisticated art techniques and methodologies for practical integration into the classroom. The workshop will be conducted by established artist and COFA lecturer, Kerrie Lester who is well-known for her joyous stitched oil paintings. Lester’s work is held in numerous collections including the National Portrait Gallery of Australia. Among many other achievements, she has famously been an Archibald Prize finalist 17 times, was commissioned by the Federal Government to paint Cathy Freeman’s portrait and won the 2011 Mosman Art Prize.
