16th Annual Mil-Pra AECG Aboriginal Exhibition and Art Award

The Mil-Pra AECG Aboriginal Exhibition and Art Award is an annual event that promotes contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. A celebration of Indigenous culture, Mil-Pra acknowledges the importance of traditional practices, icons, stories and cultural artefacts that continue to play an important role in Indigenous society today.

Mil-Pra spotlights and promotes emerging and established arts professionals from NSW and the ACT with six awards. In 2008 all entries were united by the theme "My Story", creating an exhibition celebrating the personal, sharing between generations and with the community.
