A Show About Joe
This show explored the life, loves and social/political contributions made by former Mayor and iconic figure of Liverpool, Joe Durrant. Artist Joanne Saad brought together the various elements of Joe's life into this multimedia exhibition that surveyed a critical part of Liverpool's history. Audiences were treated to an in-depth look at Joe's persona and public lives, acknowledging the larrikin friend to many, the formal public figure of Mayor and the community activist who continues to spend many hours lobbying for cultural acceptance and equality.
