Intimate Moments projects video documentaries of local women onto buildings in Liverpool’s CBD, transforming the city into an unusual canvas.
The subjects of Therese Sweeney’s work are from the fringe farming community of Bringelly and the neighbouring public housing estate formerly known as Green Valley. Originally from the area, Sweeney’s work reflects and challenges the stereotypes that are assigned to individuals and communities existing on the fringes.
These startlingly personal images will illuminate the streets of Liverpool, transforming the surfaces of our urban space into remarkable lenses into our identity.
