Synergy
Simply using a piece of A4 paper, six artists will each create a drawn image of their own choosing. Each artist will receive a copy of an image from another artist for the consideration and elaboration in producing their next image. Each artist will select influences from the images passed onto them as the process continues. This round robin model will continue until each artist has completed a total of 11 images over the period of approximately one year. A total of 66 works will be displayed to show the six original works and the development which culminated in the final artwork of each artist. The anticipation is that the final artworks will reflect the influences and contributions of the individual artists, but particularly from the interaction of the group as a whole, which the analogy of synergy derives.
The artists of the Synergy project are Di Hallinan, Lorraine Maggs, John Supe, Charlie Wells, Linda Brescia and Pamela Rodoreda.
