Australian Muslim Women's Arts Project

The Australian Muslim Women's Arts Project is a national arts engagement project, funded by the Human Rights Commission and the Australia Council for the Arts.

Specialist facilitators and artists will work together for over 12 months in a variety of workshops to develop new work for an exhibition at Casula Powerhouse in 2012. Artists will be supported by Rusaila Bazlamit (Curator) and Alissar Chidiac (Creative Producer).Creative art forms will include installation, printing, drawing, photography, henna and other organic material, painting, etching, textiles, jewellery, sculpture, sound and video.
