Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and the NSW Spanish and Latin American Association for Social Assistance presents
The Afro Latino Festival
What comes to mind when you hear “Afro Latino”?
For some it means music and dance, for others it is a connection to their ancestry and an eagerness to celebrate it!
In collaboration with the NSW Spanish and Latin American Association for Social Assistance, Casula Powerhouse will embrace the spirit, colours, rhythms and stories of its local communities to promote and strengthen their cultural identities with a FREE festival. To the beat of the drums, Afro Latino Festival will present an exciting and unique showcase of the Afro-communities’ music, cuisine, arts, crafts, dance, history and culture.
Expect an extraordinary ensemble of cultural performances from Latin America and Africa, live music, food stalls, arts and craft expo, a fashion parade, music and dance workshops, a soccer competition and lots of fun.
Afro Latino Festival is an initiative of the Spanish and Latin American Association for Social Assistance.
