April’s Fool
In April 2009, David Terauds found his son Kristjan in bed unconscious. Five days later Kristjan died - weeks short of his nineteenth birthday - due to complications from illicit drug use. From these events grew an extraordinarily beautiful play, which is less about substance abuse and more about the choices we make and those that love us.
