We invite you to join us for the launch of the 2018 Matinee Film & Theatre Program, on the 17th of November, 2017.
Complimentary morning tea will be served from 10:30am in the Turbine Hall. The program overview presented in the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre Theatre, at 11:00am. Tickets will go on-sale directly after the launch presentation.
The Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is now entering its 9th year and in 2017 we have some special treats to share. The 2018 program is a diverse, entertaining and specially created for those looking to take a trip down memory lane.
Theatre shows on offer include heart-warming and engaging performances from every genre; classic musicals, jazz, big-band, and heart-warming covers, there is literally something for everyone. A variety of Sydney’s leading performers, including Grace Knight, Donna Lee, and John Watson take to our stage to showcase the best of past nostalgia.
We are also pleased to announce that Sydney Film Festival has partnered with us to curate a program of retrospective classic films for the first time, including family favourites like The Wizard of Oz, An American in Paris and Singing in the Rain.
