A free seminar for young adults to learn about different creative careers and network with industry leaders.

22 Oct 2016 | 10:30am - 2pm

Wednesday 19 October - Creative Courses is for School Groups

Navigating the multitude of avenues a creative career can take you is difficult. What can you do with a Fine Arts Degree or a Bachelor of Arts? Creative Careers offers young adults an invaluable insight into how best to break into the Arts industry and gain full-time work.

Join us at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC) as we engage with sixteen creative professionals about their respective journeys in the Arts. We will be drawing on the expertise of the likes of Elke Kramer (Studio Elke), Therese Moussa (The Grounds of Alexandria), Emma Pike (Kaldor Art Projects) and Jordan Kretchmer (Time Out Sydney).

Come armed with your questions about working in the Arts for a Q&A session, and participate in one of our half-hour workshops: join a styling masterclass with Therese Moussa, Creative Developer and Stylist of The Grounds of Alexandria, or a smartphone filmmaking workshop with Angela Blake, Co-Founder of Smart Fone Flick Fest (SF3).

Light refreshments provided.
