Serena Bruno comes from a small village in Abruzzo, she has a degree with Honours in Architecture, holds a Master’s degree and knows many foreign languages. She works in London, where her talent and dedication are properly appreciated. However, she is very homesick and decides to go back to Italy: in Rome she cannot find an even remotely comparable job to the one she had in London. Francesco is gay and Serena, who was already romantically dreaming of him, has to settle for his friendship.
