SYO’s Music Fun and Learning Week will provide a combination of structured active learning activities and music games to cater for all primary school age children. Young people who already have musical skills and are learning an instrument will be directed into a level of activity where they can explore and expand their skills, and those with no prior instrumental experience will be guided through fun music craft and interactive music learning games. Fully qualified music teachers will supervise and teach ensuring that your child has a fantastic fun few days in the school holidays. Students will also be joined each day by a young musician from The Sydney Youth Orchestra to demonstrate and learn about the different instrument families within an orchestra. No instruments are required.

Participants to bring own packed lunch, healthy snacks, and re-fillable drink bottle.

Participants can enroll for 1, 2 or 3 days. Cost includes all activities and materials.

This program is only available for children currently enrolled in primary school. A minimum number of 25 participants per day is required for the program to take place each day. Places are limited to a maximum of 40 students per day.
