A soft world of floating houses, soaring towers, drifting passageways and hidden spaces for kids to construct, explore and make their own. From a sea of household linen, a new city will rise within the Turbine Hall over the four days of the WOW Festival: a city called Cubbyopolis.

At a time when finding a home in the city is getting beyond the reach of many, Cubbyopolis finds inspiration in children’s natural ability to build shared places from whatever is at hand. In Cubbyopolis kids are invited to become bed-sheet architects, transforming the domestic into the fantastic and create an entire city just from free-play.

Cubbyopolis is an ever-evolving environment for kid’s play, imagination, optimism and natural creativity to take flight - a place where we really can build castles in the sky.
