Soft Core features the art work of Tony Oursler, an American multimedia artist who works across sculpture, painting and video. He is known for creating surreal narratives, with bizarre forms and characters, through the use of multimedia projection on 3D forms.

As part of the exhibition Soft Core, Soft Motion will offer participants the opportunity to learn, develop and create a short Claymation that can explore the unexpected. With the guidance of Belinda Watson participants of this two day workshop will develop their own character and narrative which will then come to life on film. Come and discover how to transform a soft ball of clay into a story telling oddity.

Belinda has worked as a member on the FIRST Robotics committee and is a Design and Technology Teacher, teaching electronics, robotics, animation and technology to all ages. Belinda has taught for more than a decade in schools across NSW. She started her career as an Electrician and then moved into the Technology industry before settling into Teaching.
