Tedeschi & Hunt: The Painted Piano  

Two great pianists on two pianos, in a performance where the jazz and the classical duck and weave in a way that feels ‘just right’. Performing together throughout Australia for over a decade to acclaim and standing ovations, Simon Tedeschi and Kevin Hunt return in 2017 with a new program of irresistible classical and jazz works, centred around Hunt’s own Painted Piano Suite.

Alongside music from Bach and Debussy to Ellington, Monk and Oscar Peterson, Tedeschi + Hunt also revisit Gershwin’s much-lauded masterpiece, Rhapsody in Blue in a phenomenal arrangement by these two maestros of the piano.

Two very different individuals united in their love of music, each bring something different, yet equally exciting, to the stage.
