CASULA POWERHOUSE DIGITAL PROGRAM
Thanks for joining us and welcome to our 'Digital Program' page. During COVID-19 we've had to at times, pivot to a fully online program to keep you entertained; depending on restrictions, lock-downs and advice from NSW Health. We're continuing to bring you our digital program during COVID-19 and we'll update this page with new content as it arrives. Even with changes to restrictions and at times being able to have reduced capacity in-person events we're committed to continuing our digital program and ensuring everyone has access to the arts.
We've got workshops, art activities for the kids, exhibition walk-through's, 3D Virtual tours, music performances, cooking classes, garden tips and so much more. We aim to keep you entertained during lockdown, after lockdown and everything that comes at us in between.
In these uncertain times, however, we can be sure that the arts are more relevant than ever.

We've got some great local talent to draw from and are lucky to have some hidden talents from our resident youth company CPAC Youth. Check out the below music clips from some selected musicians and for more great music click here. Depending on which stage during COVID-19 we were at some of the performances are recorded from their bedrooms, and some we were lucky enough to have them here at Casula Powerhouse in our Theatre Stage converted to a mini TV studio to record the music clips. Check out the raw and uplifting emotion of these musicians during COVID-19.
We have some fantastic ways for you to access our exhibitions online. Visit our exhibitions page where you can access information about each show and download the catalogue. We'll also be including some virtual 3D tours, walkthroughs with curators and more. Click here to read more
In the video below, artist and curator, Shivanjani Lal gives us an introduction to Bittersweet, a poignant showcase of contemporary Fijian art and storytelling, focusing on the ways in which ideas around food, language, and art are interpreted by those living in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
With our growing urban footprint and increasingly adverse effects of climate change, the loss of species and habitats is becoming all too common. Yet, for tens of thousands of years this same land has sustained life – creating habitats, food, cooling the environment and supporting cleaner air and waterways.
So, how, as our city expands, can we reignite our vital connection with land, water, flora and fauna? And bring bush land back into our urban environment?
The Seeds of our City exhibition, borne out of a collaboration between Arup, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC) and Liverpool City Council, opens up community and professional conversations around maintaining biodiversity and enabling continued connection to nature in the context of a rapidly growing city.

GIRLS TALK WOMENS WORK 2019
International Women’s Day is a global celebration of a variety of women’s achievements, as well as identifying gender inequality and imbalance. CPAC presented an incredible event celebrating women through conversations with incredible thought-leaders from the community. There were three panels that recognise the role, impact and perspectives of women in the following areas: Culture, Identity and Motherhood. These conversations seek to empower women in different stages of life, as our panellists are each from different cultural & professional backgrounds.
