ME, MY PEOPLE, MY PLACE, MY CULTURE

12 - 26 September

Me, My People, My Place, My Culture is a collaboration between Children’s Services and Casula Powerhouse that aims to encourage participant’s sense of identity and belonging in the community.  This exhibition explores themes of individual and collective experience of identity, culture, space and place.

Children from seven early education and care centres have created sculptures and drawings that imaginatively point viewers towards a vision of their community and environment. The diversity of vibrant and imaginative artwork is a visual symphony that reflects the lively and dynamic visions of the children who created the exhibition.
