EVENTS: EXHIBITION LAUNCH: BEYOND REFUGE: DIALOGUES
5 May 2019 | 11.30am - 1.00pm
CuriousWorks invites you to the launch of Beyond Refuge: Dialogues, a collection of five short video works created by artists with refugee and asylum-seeker backgrounds. Recently arrived and first gen artists collaborated to give voice and vision to ‘the epic films we have inside us’, and change the asylum seeker narrative by defining on their own terms what they would like to say and how they would like to say it.
Join us for an afternoon to celebrate, listen and dance.
