We reopen on Monday 18 October. Our on-site restaurant opens from Wednesday 15 October.

We continue to closely monitor and adhere to advice issued by NSW Health and the Australian Government Department of Health and closely monitoring updates from Live Performance Australia (LPA), the national peak body for the live performance industry in relation to COVID-19.

We are a registered COVID-19 Safe venue and your health and safety are our top priority. We have guidelines and measures in place to ensure your visit is safe, enjoyable and that you can feel comfortable knowing that your wellbeing is cared for. Click here for the full list of measures in place.

Casula Parklands

Please note access to the parklands is currently by foot only. The  exercise and play equipment is closed to the public and there is no access along Powerhouse Road with no parking is available.

With 22 hectares of natural parkland right at the foot of Casula Powerhouse  - Casula Parklands has something for everyone, from toddlers to adults:

  • Ninja training circuit for adults and teenagers;
  • Eight-metre-high Sky Walk and tunnel slide for older kids and teens;
  • Swings;
  • Accessible carousel;
  • Dual flying foxes;
  • Inclusive play equipment for all abilities;
  • Toddler playground; and
  • Separate off-leash parks for big dogs and small dogs.

And when all the fun and excitement gets too much, you can relax under one of the shaded picnic shelters. Water bubblers and toilets are available at the playground.

HOW TO GET HERE

TRAIN

Casula Powerhouse has it's very own train station. Disembark at Casula Station on the T2 Inner West & South Line or T5 Cumberland - first stop after Liverpool (from Sydney) or Glenfield (from Campbelltown). www.131500.info

Please note the T2 Airport line is different from the T2 Inner West/South - if coming from City Circle via airport, please change at Glenfield.

CAR AND BICYCLE

● From Parramatta or Campbelltown way (without tolls)

Take the Hume Highway going towards Liverpool. Follow it all the way into Terminus Street, Liverpool and turn right into Pirie Street. Follow the signs to the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Shepard Street Entrance.

● From the M5/City (with tolls)

Take the M5 to Liverpool. Exit at Moorebank Avenue and drive towards Liverpool turning left at Newbridge Road. Turn left into Speed Street and follow the signs to Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

ACCESS

Visitors with restricted mobility can enjoy all public areas of Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. The theatre is fitted with a hearing loop, and has provision for restricted mobility access. Guide and Hearing Dogs are welcome.
