This musical mock-documentary showcases the search for the truth about Tony Vilar, a man who became one of the most successful South American singers of the 60's, best known for his song entitled 'Cuando Calienta el Sol.' He disappeared at the height of his career, prompting Peppe, another Italian singer to trace Vilar's steps from Italy to Buenos Aires and New York. The eccentricity of the people that we encounter in the film reveal more about the mysterious Tony Vilar.
