EXHIBITIONS: NAIDOC WEEK EXHIBITION
21 Jun 2017 - 9 Jul 2017 | 10.00am - 5.00pm
As part of NAIDOC week 2017, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre celebrates their collection of Aboriginal art acquired over 25 years from the annual Mil-Pra AECG exhibition.
In light of the 50 year anniversary of the 1967 referendum and in response to this year’s NAIDOC theme: our languages matter, this exhibition addresses the importance of our local cultural identity by acknowledging Aboriginal people and maintaining Aboriginal story-telling through selected artworks.
